Training Description: This 60-minute webinar will provide specific information on providing primary care to patients at risk for suicide, identifying patients in your practice as well as information on "language matters." Providers and their teams will learn some "micro interventions" to use during a primary care visit, risk assessments and safety planning
Learning Objectives:1. Primary care providers and their teams will learn the prevalence of suicide and best practices to identify people at risk for suicide2. Participants will learn best practices to assess patients at risk for suicide in the primary care setting3. Primary care providers and their teams will learn skills to help care for patients at risk for suicide as well as interventions, such as safety planning for primary care
