GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership on matters pertaining to medical issues, quality of care, clinical guidelines, peer review, and resolution of medical incidents. They provide leadership assistance in recruitment of medical clinicians to fill vacancies and achieving organizational objectives. Provides input into strategic decisions for the Medical Division. The Medical Director(s) role is provided with 8 sessions per month, depending on assigned duties, to complete the required duties in addition to physician clinical responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical Clinician with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Must be at least a 0.75 FTE.
  • Possesses strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior clinical and/or administrative experience in a community health center setting.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
