The 340B Director will manage the operations of the 340B program, administering the program to fully optimize appropriate savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Seven (7) years of pharmacy operations and at least seven (7) years of experience with 340B are required. 
  • Five (5) years supervisory or management experience preferred, or any similar combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. 340B Drug Pricing Program purchasing activities and analysis experience.
  2. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) 340b audit experience.
  3. Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software and 340B split-billing software desirable.
  4. Possess excellent negotiation skills, including the tact required for securing payment or discussing patient’s finances.
  5. Up to date with health information technologies and applications.
  6. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations and the public.
  7. Skill in developing, implementing and administering work processes.
  8. Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments to meet practice timelines.
  9. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and in person.
  10. Proficient in the Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  11. Be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment.
