The 340B Director will manage the operations of the 340B program, administering the program to fully optimize appropriate savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Seven (7) years of pharmacy operations and at least seven (7) years of experience with 340B are required.
- Five (5) years supervisory or management experience preferred, or any similar combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- 340B Drug Pricing Program purchasing activities and analysis experience.
- Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) 340b audit experience.
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software and 340B split-billing software desirable.
- Possess excellent negotiation skills, including the tact required for securing payment or discussing patient’s finances.
- Up to date with health information technologies and applications.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations and the public.
- Skill in developing, implementing and administering work processes.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments to meet practice timelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and in person.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment.
