Quality Improvement Specialist
Steven Rusingiza became part of the ICHCA team in April 2023 as the Quality Improvement Specialist. His work supports CHC’s in achieving the best patient outcomes through innovative quality improvement programs utilizing the highest clinical standards, fostering patient engagement, and coordinating care within the larger healthcare system.
Steven's journey in healthcare began as a Community Health Worker at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center. In this role, he gained valuable experience in advocating for the health and well-being of individuals and communities, deepening his understanding of the challenges faced by underserved populations. Driven by a curiosity for the potential of data in healthcare, Steven embarked on an internship with St. Luke's Health System in Data & Analytics. Here, he developed a strong foundation in leveraging data to uncover insights, identify trends, and drive improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys engaging in various activities. He likes spending quality time with friends, going on outdoor adventures, and being active through sports.
