The Field Guide to Enrollment is meant to be used by enrollment counselors working directly with consumers to find health coverage that meets the consumer’s needs.

The Maine Primary Care Association (MPCA) pulled together the following tips, ideas and recommendations from health centers’ assister experience during the first year of Open Enrollment (2013-2014). This brief guide can be used to help health center staff and other assisters build off of successful strategies from prior years, as well as maximize their time and expertise given shorter open enrollment periods and the complexies of reenrollment. Assisters can use this guide as a reference, in addition to toolkits and resources from Enroll America, Idaho Primary Care Association (IPCA) and Your Health Idaho (YHI).
