Robin Donovan

Program Manager of Workforce Development

Robin Donovan became part of the ICHCA team in August 2020 as the Program Manager, Workforce Development. Her work supports the CHCs in recruitment, training and retention. Robin is interested in learning more about each CHC workforce need in order to bring the most relevant and beneficial resources to the clinics. She manages the Dental Assisting Apprenticeship program in partnership with North Idaho College, partners with colleges and universities to educate health professions students and faculty on what CHC’s are, who they serve and why they might want to work with one and can aid in creating comprehensive workforce plans for CHCs.

Robin came to ICHCA from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society where she supported neurologists in Arizona, Utah and Idaho in providing patients resources to cope with the effects of MS. Prior to that, she worked with Your Health Idaho as the Outreach and Education Manager, working across the state to deliver information on Idaho’s health insurance exchange. Robin and her husband moved to Boise in 2017 from Seattle, WA where she worked with students, faculty and staff at the University of Washington for almost 8 years. She takes her love for students and education to help build career pipelines for the CHCs.

When Robin isn’t at work, she’s running, riding, playing disc golf, and camping with her husband and son.
