Sam Jacobson became part of the Idaho Community Health Center Association (ICHCA) team in September of 2023 as the Communication and Engagement Specialist.
She holds a degree in Communication from Boise State University and has a background in behavioral health. Prior to her role at ICHCA, Sam worked as a Project Coordinator with The Speedy Foundation in Boise, where she focused on mental health advocacy, gaining valuable experience in public outreach.
Sam's background also includes experience in Arts Entrepreneurship, with a strong foundation in photography and media relations. She has collaborated closely with nonprofits and local businesses in the Boise area. At ICHCA, Sam's responsibilities encompass managing external-facing communication, actively promoting and collaborating on training projects, and providing training assistance to support Community Health Centers.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys photography, traveling, thrift shopping for unnecessary sweaters and skirts, yoga, and hiking!
