Nicole Pearson currently works to support Community Health Center Behavioral Health services. Nicole has been supporting Idaho's CHCs since 2015, when she was a Quality Improvement Specialist with the Statewide Healthcare Improvement Program (SHIP). With SHIP, Nicole worked with 10 different clinics, many of them CHCs, and the ability to compare and contrast models of service started her passion in supporting CHCs.
At ICHCA, Nicole is responsible for training and TA related to Behavioral Health, including partnering with the Idaho Integrated Behavioral Health Network (IIBHN) and the Idaho Conference on Alcohol and Drug Dependency (ICADD). Outside those responsibilities, she also reviews grants that may be applicable for health centers and supports some of the research/networking/LOS/etc. associated with applications.
Outside work, Nicole has a long list of rotating hobbies including reading/audiobooks, encaustics, sketching, crochet and basically anything artsy/crafty, rockhounding, flower and vegetable gardening, and houseplants. She and her partner are owned by a giant Siberian cat named Teddy, and spoil their 7 nieces and nephews.
