Idaho Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) Lunch and Learn - Thursday, December 15, 12:30-1:30 PM MST / 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM PST
Idaho's Area Health Education Centers offer a variety of ways to connect with health care careers students interested in supporting rural, underserved communities. CHCs can play an integral role in supporting their journey while having them volunteer in ways that help patients, staff, clinicians and the broader community. There are also opportunities for providers to earn CE credits based on the types of trainings they are looking for through SWI AHEC which will be discussed as well.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the AHEC Scholars program and the ways in which students are supporting clinics through the program.
- Understand the continuing education credit opportunities that can be tailored to your clinic's provider training needs.
