Hi everyone,
In 2022 Idaho State University received almost 3 million dollars to create and implement a robust community health worker (CHW) certification program, and it's open for applicants. The CHW Training Academy provides the following:
- CHW Core Training Program
- CHW Advanced Training
- CHW Add-On Health Modules (28 topic specific)
- CHW Apprentice Training
- CHW Supervisor Training
- CHW Mini Learning Collaboratives
Stipends are available. For more information about the application process and stipends, please contact Stephanie Christian at schristian@npaihb.org or Morning Rose Tobey at mtobey@npaihb.org. Individuals who are interested in receiving CEUs after successful completion, this course is worth 4.8 CEUs. There is a $20 CEU recording fee per person per course.
