Nicole Davis

Manager of Health Equity Programs,
Idaho Community Health Center Association

Bio

Nicole became a part of the ICHCA team in 2017 as the Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator. In her current role as the Manager of Health Equity Programs, Nicole supports Idaho community health center outreach and enrollment teams in providing health insurance enrollment assistance, community outreach, and community health center external communications support. Nicole acts as the point of contact for community health centers for Your Health Idaho, the state-based health insurance market exchange, DHW, CMS, and other federal, state, and local shareholders. In Nicole's role as the Manager of Health Equity, she supports efforts to address social drivers of health in Idaho. By focusing on food, housing, transportation, broadband access, and the development of a robust Community Health Worker workforce, Nicole hopes to make a positive impact on health outcomes for underserved communities.

Nicole joined ICHCA after working at the Idaho Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, where she started to see the effects of poor community health options for seniors in Idaho. After managing the repurposed hearing aid program at the Idaho Lions Sight and Health Foundation, she saw the need for expanded community health access firsthand and her desire to help Idahoans grew. Nicole moved to Boise in 2012 to be closer to family after completing her degree in International Relations at San Francisco State University.

Nicole likes to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest by going hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, river rafting, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and much more - even if she is uncoordinated, clumsy, and tends to hurt herself.
